Tim! Thanks for visiting my site and I am glad you liked the photos. I never get tired of watching them swoop and soar, especially when two or more fly together.

I really need to get back into writing my blogs again now that the hectic summer is over and the hectic holidays are upon us! Or maybe I need to kick back & listen to some of David's music!

And on another note - Anyone out there needing info on Social Security disability benefits: Tim has the most informative site I have ever come across on the subject. Go to http://www.disabilityblogger.blogspot.com/

Thanks again, Tim, for your feedback!

Beautiful photos. I was always drawn to the way the feathers splay at the end of the wingspan.

I have to agree about David's music. Very peaceful and tranquil stuff.

David - if you check back in on this - I was not successful at leaving you a comment on your myspace. Your music is absolutely beautiful. Truly, it brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of times with my mother - paddles in quiet waters - walking through the rainforest - sitting in my secret garden. Keep doing this. And yes, I will buy a CD when it is ready.

And to anyone reading this - check out David's music at http://www.myspace.com/davidwlindberg

How cool that must have been!!!... I've only seen eagles somewhat close in a zoo. They are sooo huge!!!

Hope all is well with you! Have I sent you a link to my music on my myspace page? I'm writing a CD of music for relaxation/easy listening. I have gotten a lot of good feedback on them so far. I should have the CD and songs available for download very soon. Here's the link: http://www.myspace.com/davidwlindberg

I hope you enjoy them!

Take care!

Hi! And thanks for visiting my site! Actually, this site is dedicated to writing about my mother's struggle with Alzheimer's, but I am having a difficult time writing about that - and so I started the www.Whaletails.Wordpress.com to share some of the other fun things we do (and which my mother would have enjoyed). Sometimes I have to pinch myself - I feel so fortunate to live where I do. It's a good life. Your name expresses it well: Morningjoy!

I'm so glad to know about your site.

Ah! You said it best! "Like an exquisitely choreographed ballet!" They are so incredibly graceful! I have read that they mate for life -- I was amazed to watch them fly so closely in pairs, often calling to one another and turning together. I am always amazed at how the little birds will harass them. Perhaps they are not really so ferocious - only so in our own eyes, since we have turned them into something more than a magnificent bird, but a symbol.
